“My treatment philosophy always goes back to straight anatomy and physiology.”

Terry Moore - Concussion Recovery, Therapy, and Chronic Pain Treatment

Terry Moore

Founder of Moore MyoWorx

Terry Moore, BSc., MSc., PhD (abd) is a world renowned Cardiovascular and Neuromuscular Physiologist.  In simple terms, this means he is an expert in how the body works: the heart and blood vessels, nerves and arteries, and the relationship between the nervous system and the muscles in the body.

Due to a very serious accident when he was young, Terry’s personal story is a story of heartache, pain, dedication, perseverance, and triumph over several chronic and complex conditions.  After basically curing himself of life altering symptoms through study and research, Terry now directs and oversees these strategies in his clinic in Guelph, Canada and Denver, Colorado.

Terry’s team of professionals follow the streamlined, extremely detailed “Moore Myoworx Protocol” from the initial evaluation, to the treatment with the patented TM20 device and experienced therapists, to aftercare and self autonomy.

“To give someone back a life, give them something so they can have a useful life…there is nothing more valuable than that. Nothing.”

Terry’s Story

Sledding with friends, Terry went head first into a tree at the age of 8 (1962). He was left unconscious, only to awaken hours later in the dark and in a “daze.” Worried about getting in trouble, Terry went home and hid this incident from his parents. This started a horrendous downward spiral that is very common to individuals involved in a traumatic incident.

It started with a diagnosis of arthritis from the doctors. They prescribed 24 aspirins per day and zero physical exercise as treatment. His condition worsened and his symptoms increased. Headaches, dizziness, nausea, trouble sleeping, fatigue, muscle tightness, chronic pain, autoimmune disease, and a long list of others.

As his condition worsened, Terry decided that if he was going to be in pain anyway, he might as well do what he enjoyed. He went back to swimming and weight lifting and gradually started noticing an improvement in his pain. He later found that by removing the tension in his muscles, his nerves and joints became inflammation free. This revelation instigated a several decade long investigative and healing journey that not only changed his life, but has helped thousands of patients all over the world.
