From Setback to Breakthrough: How Moore MyoWorx and Scott Vatter are Transforming Concussion Recovery in Colorado
The Vatter Family’s Journey to Healing is Bringing Hope to Concussion Recovery
When Scott and Emily Vatter’s daughter, Natalie, suffered a whiplash concussion during a middle school soccer game, no one initially realized the severity of her injury—not her coaches, teammates, or even the spectators. What followed was a frustrating seven-month search for answers, cycling through doctors, therapists, and various treatments that provided little relief. It wasn’t until Emily discovered Moore MyoWorx in Canada that Natalie finally found a path to recovery.
Now, inspired by their own journey, the Vatters have partnered with Terry Moore to bring Moore MyoWorx to Colorado, offering a groundbreaking, drug-free approach to concussion treatment that is changing lives.
A concussion sustained by their daughter Natalie was a key factor in the Vatter family’s drive to bring cutting-edge concussion therapy and research to Colorado.
Scott Vatter has walked this path himself and is now deeply committed to helping others do the same.

Can you tell us about Natalie’s concussion and the journey your family went through to find effective treatment?
Natalie suffered a whiplash concussion injury in 7th grade while playing soccer. The coaches, trainers, teammates, and spectators did not even know an injury occurred because she did not get knocked down and continued to play. Our journey included several doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, psychologists, injections to block nerves and so much more. After seven months of "striking out", we finally found Moore MyoWorx in Canada.
What was the treatment experience like in Guelph, and how did it impact Natalie’s recovery?
Treatment at Moore MyoWorx was completely different than all other protocols we experienced in our journey. They identified all the symptoms Natalie was suffering from and pinpointed the root cause of all of them. Within two weeks, Natalie's symptoms improved about 65% and she was symptom-free about eight weeks.
What inspired you to partner with Terry Moore to bring Moore MyoWorx to Colorado?
My wife and I decided to partner with Terry Moore because of how many people we talked to who are dealing with chronic health issues and not finding solutions. Instead of flying to Canada for treatment, now treatment could be offered in Colorado!
What makes the Moore MyoWorx approach unique compared to other concussion recovery methods?
The biggest difference I see with the Moore MyoWorx approach is that it encourages the body to heal itself. No injections, no drugs, no scans—just a hands-on, natural treatment plan with no negative side effects! Everyone can benefit from what we do.
How does your personal experience with Natalie’s recovery influence how you run the clinic and connect with patients?
Everyone always asks me why I am so passionate about Moore MyoWorx and our Denver Clinic. The answer is very simple. When someone—or some company—gives your daughter her life back, it’s easy to be passionate about it! We love to see patients dealing with chronic long-term symptoms triumph over them and leave a completely different person!
What challenges have you encountered in bringing Moore MyoWorx to the U.S., and how have you overcome them?
Our biggest challenge with the Denver Clinic is just getting the word out. It takes some time to build up our "referring" database since we are the first clinic in the US. Slowly but surely, this is changing as we impact people's lives.
How has your family’s experience shaped your views on concussion recovery and awareness?
Concussions are still so misunderstood, misdiagnosed, and mistreated. Awareness has definitely increased but treatment protocols are still widely varied.
What advice would you give to those struggling with the effects of chronic pain or concussions?
Go to Moore MyoWorx. There is absolutely NO downside. At a minimum, set up a free virtual consultation to see if we can help.
Can you share a bit about your professional background before becoming involved with Moore MyoWorx?
I currently own and operate a baseball and softball training academy called HitStreak. I get to work with athletes on a daily basis and participate in their athletic journeys. It is very fulfilling to develop relationships with these athletes and their parents.
Biggest key to your success and/or the clinic’s success?
The key to our success at Moore MyoWorx is our staff! They are amazing. We get comments all the time about the care and empathy they demonstrate with all our patients and we are so thankful they have chosen to be a part of our mission.
Natalie’s journey from injury to recovery not only transformed her life but also ignited a passion within her family to help others facing similar struggles. By bringing Moore MyoWorx to Colorado, the Vatters are offering hope to those who have been searching for answers, just as they once were.
Their clinic’s unique approach, focused on natural healing and long-term recovery, is already making a profound impact.
